This Camera Module is a custom-designed easy plug-and-play solution for Raspberry Pi, attaching to the board via one of the two small sockets on the upper surface. The sensor itself has a native resolution of 5 megapixels, still picture resolution of 2592 x 1944, and supports 1080p30, 720p60, and 640x480p60 video. The camera is supported in the latest version of Raspbian, Raspberry Pi's preferred operating system.
Specifications include a CCD size of 1/4 inch, aperture (F) of 1.8, focal length of 3.6 mm (adjustable), field of view of 72 degrees, and preferred sensor resolution of 1080p. The dimension of the camera module is 1.42 inches x 1.04 inches x 0.94 inches, with 4 screw holes for a fixed position. It supports 3.3V power output and connecting infrared LED or flash LED.
