Please note that Wahl does not recommend getting the trimmer body wet, either through rinsing or submerging it in water. However, the blades can be rinsed with water after they are removed, rinsed, and dried before reattachment. We recommend using the cleaning brush included in the kit to maintain the blades and apply oil to them at least every other trim. Rest assured, each beard trimmer kit is thoroughly tested for cutting performance before packaging, ensuring the highest standards of quality. The unit has a travel lock feature to prevent accidental activation during shipment and travel. To activate or deactivate the travel lock feature, press and hold the on/off button for 3-5 seconds. The indicator light will flash green or blue 3 times when the lock is deactivated and will flash red when the lock is activated. NOTE: Plugging in the power cord while locked will deactivate the travel lock.
