This outdoor WiFi extender is commonly used in environments such as backyards, gardens, garages, patios, farms, barns, warehouses, and locations where outdoor security cameras or WiFi-enabled devices require stable wireless connectivity beyond indoor walls. It is designed for residential and light commercial outdoor scenarios that require continuous and stable operation. Built on IEEE 802.11ac dual-band technology, the device supports wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz band, delivering a combined bandwidth of up to 1200Mbps. MU-MIMO technology allows multiple devices to communicate simultaneously, helping maintain stable connections across smartphones, tablets, and outdoor smart devices. This product extends wireless coverage and signal stability but does not increase the original internet speed provided by the internet service provider. Actual throughput depends on the main router performance, internet plan, and real-world network conditions. Wireless coverage distance varies based on environmental factors such as trees, walls, buildings, terrain, interference sources, antenna orientation, and installation height. The WN572HP3 is equipped with four high-gain 7dBi omnidirectional antennas designed to support wider outdoor signal distribution. Due to its sealed and weatherproof outdoor design, this model is not intended to function as a wired distribution point for external devices.
