BT 5.0 aptX Low Latency Bluetooth Audio Transmitter with Optical Support
Recommended Uses:
- Bluetooth-enabled TV, PC, AV Receiver, TV Box, and other devices. Please note that the Audikast Plus is a transmitter ONLY (i.e., it can take an audio signal from your device and transmit it to a pair of headphones or speakers). It cannot function as a receiver.
- Support Digital OPTICAL, RCA (TV / DVD - RCA cable not included), AUX or PC USB audio output ports.
- Works with ALL Bluetooth headphones & speakers in single-link mode.
- For Dual link mode - works best with two Bluetooth headphones.
- Supports aptX-Low Latency for 2 compatible (aptX-LL) headphones in dual-link mode.
Doesn’t work / not recommended for:
- Many headphones/speakers are primarily for music, not watching TV, and do not support aptX-LL. The Audikast Plus will connect with these devices using another codec (e.g., SBC, aptX), resulting in a 70- 200ms audio delay, which may be noticeable by some users. To achieve low low-latency effect, your device also has to support aptX Low Latency, We recommend using Avantree Torus / AS9P / AS90P / AS90T / AS90TA
- This is a Class 1 Bluetooth transmitter - proven to reach up to 100'. However, your range will depend on several factors - see details below Q1.
- For TV optical output - set audio format to PCM. Dolby / DTS is not supported.
- Not compatible with ANY RCA output on the back of the AV Receiver/amplifier.
- When using the transmitter, the TV internal speakers might not work or become muted. This is TV dependent - please see details in Q2 below.
- Volume + / - will not work if your device (like, hearing aids) does not support Audio / Video Remote Control Profile.
- Not recommended for streaming live music (while playing guitar, keyboard, electronic drums, karaoke, etc.)
