Do not use the dehumidifier below 50ºF (minimum operating temperature).
We suggest replacing the HEPA filter every 6 months depending on usage.
Steps for cleaning the dehumidifier:
Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug the power cord.
Remove the water tank, and empty the water inside.
Mix half a cup of vinegar and 3 cups of water and let it sit in the water tank for 5 minutes.
Then use a soft damp cloth to wipe any dust on the unit.
After 5 minutes, empty the water tank, rinse it with water, dry it with a towel, then put it back into the chamber, and you're all set to use the dehumidifier again.
